Need two connections or more for redundancy? One of them should be 1Velocity.

Enterprises often get multiple physically separate connections to maximize uptime. All carriers have outages (including 1Velocity), so it's important to have two carriers who will not go down at the same time.

But connections from different carriers are often in the same right-of-way. Even lines coming into two different sides of the building on two different paths may eventually meet up in the same trench.

When a national company built a new office in Las Vegas, they ordered a fiber line from the phone company to their national MPLS. Five days before move-in, the fiber build-out was still not completed.
