1Velocity is looking for an account executive to find new customers and help continue our growth.

1Velocity is a telecommunications company pioneering the use of millimeter wave wireless fiber for metro Ethernet service. We provide Ethernet private lines and Internet access to medium-sized business, enterprises, governments, and other carriers in Las Vegas and Reno. Unlike other carriers, we do not share any infrastructure with the phone company. We provide real redundancy for our customers and can often serve locations no other carrier can.

Job Description

1Velocity account executives are responsible for finding new customers and providing service to existing customers. They are responsible for producing sales on a monthly basis, building long-term relationships with IT professionals in Las Vegas and Reno, and finding creative ways to promote and market 1Velocity's services.

We are looking for people who can work without formal procedures and structure, who can manage and motivate themselves, and who love the risk-reward of sales. 1Velocity offers an accelerating commission structure where your commission rate increase the more you sell. If you are looking for a large company with set procedures where you can coast from month-to-month, this is not the place for you. Expectations at 1Velocity can sometimes be vague, and our people are sometimes called to help out in areas outside their job description.

Founded in 2006, 1Velocity is a growing startup. Previous telecom experience is a plus but by no-means required.
